It is Friday – Spread God’s love

“By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.”      2 Peter 1:3

Well, its Friday and we are entering into another active weekend.

This season adds value in the many gatherings and opportunities we have in promoting peaceful relating along with spreading the lifestyle of love known in Christ.

Wherever we travel, we carry the divinity of the Christ Spirit within us and being attentive to His desires in the midst of our encounters allows Him to move in furthering His intentions in our lives, but also in those we interact with.

May we be ever mindful of the greater plans we have been gifted with in this new life, in opening our eyes, hearts and spirits to God’s divine purposes and intentions in our daily walk.

Learning to join in participating with God’s activity in our world is where we discover this place of Spirit-empowered being versus striving in our flesh.

There is no limit to the supply of God and there is no end to His merciful love that He continually pours into us, refreshing His Spirit in ours, moment-by-moment.
There is more to our daily chores and tasks in our days.

Developing a daily practice having an attitude in listening, communing, praying, and centering our souls in the Holy Spirit-empowered lifestyle, equips us with all we need to live our lives as the Godly sons and daughters we were created to become in our Lord.

Keep yourself centered in the Spirit way of being and God will work all things out for good (Romans 8:28)  according to His riches and glory.

Not all things that happen to us and others are good, but even when bad things happen, when we focus and turn to God in them, He will bring the truth of His word to pass.

The secret to thriving in this faith life is the continually; abiding and living in the ability of the Holy Spirit and not our own.

Thanks be to God for His life who has been intricately infused into our beings and all that we have has been gifted to us from Him!

Six ways to share God’s Love

  • Share a cup of tea/coffee with someone
  • Make cookies/bread/treat and take to your neighbors
  • Invite another person to your home for lunch/treat
  • Visit someone in the nursing home who has no family
  • Call someone who may need to hear encouraging words
  • Send a card to someone letting them know you appreciate them

Have an enjoyable weekend to you all!   May God’s Spirit continue to lead, guide, and grant you with His discerning wisdom.

Living Intentionally
