God helps us with our eating habits too

“Now unto Him who is able to do immeasurable more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.”  Ephesians 3:20

We all have been gifted this one precious life and what we do with it matters.  I am a woman of Faith and it is my belief I am to be a steward of my health and wellness and whatever I can do that is within my control, I will do it, in order to have a balanced lifestyle.

As a Godly woman I realize that taking care of my health and the responsibility of caring for this gift called life needs to be thoughtfully considered in my everyday ordinary living out of my faith.

It is in the giving of myself in taking care of my whole life; body, soul, and spirit – where I am becoming this new creation in Christ day by day, turning to Him for the strength I need, which includes developing healthy eating and nutritional habits.

Any change in the way we consume and ingest foods must begin with small ones that are realistic and ones we are able to manage to follow through with.

It is even in my daily diet I am in need of the help of God’s Holy Spirit.  When I make choices that align in His ways for me, His Spirit comes alongside me, aiding, helping and assisting me in not only maintaining these changes, even bringing persons to help me in these matters.

I encourage you today to begin or to continue to consume healthy products that will benefit your entire body towards maintaining health and wellness.

I have been experimenting with varying ingredients to mix in my smoothies.  Although I am not regular in when I consume these, I do regularly create smoothies to drink as beverages adding to my daily regimen of nutrients.

Today, I whipped up a blueberry/apple smoothie and it certainly is heartily filled with dense nutritious and beneficial ingredients.

Recipe:

1/2 cup homemade Kombucha flavored with lemon and ginger

2 cups filtered water

2 TBS Chia Seeds

1/4 bag frozen apples (I picked these last season and froze them)

1/4 bag frozen blueberries (These were picked last year and frozen)

2 Scoops Pea Protein Powder

1 scoop Dr. Gundry’s Vital Reds

 

I put all of these together in my Ninja blender until well mixed.

I carefully select my ingredients from sources that I have researched to be credible and offering Organically grown products in desiring to consume healthy and nutrient dense whole foods.  We are able to prevent many disease states in not only how we eat, but in what we are choosing to put into our bodies.

Those who are living with long term chronic health conditions can also maintain what healthy they do have by choosing healthy foods, but also healthy habits.
