There is a River that flows

“The time of the singing of the birds is come.”   Song of Solomon

There are seasons in our lives where our soul burst into gratitude in being alive, joining with the song birds in a heavenly choir.

Solitude quiet births a new day to be with my Father God, dwelling in the place where His Spirit resides, in the center of my being, who fills me with the song of the Holy One.

This living Hope whose name is Christ is now here among us, calling us dearly to come near to Him, be with Him, to sit in His presence where we hear the familiar song of His life rising up inside us.

These rivers of living waters, whose melody is continually birthing an ever constant, ongoing flow of refreshing within us, known in God’s Holiness, whose sustaining Spirit becomes streams harmonizing with an overflow of His resurrection life intimately intertwined in ours, each day we abide in His life.

The songs we become in abiding in this Spirit-led Life where these rivers renew an abundance of this living Hope each moment we draw near to Him, birthing a harmony of His fruits in our inner attitudes; love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

There is a river that overflows from the Spirit of God, in whose streams birth regeneration in our souls, where each day His song pours out of these wells of life sustaining waters, touching others with this true Hope known in the fellowship of the Triune Godhead.

So my soul shall ever sing praises to my Lord for the great things He has done in my life!
