Truth? Façade? Pretense?

IMG_1475God is calling all of us who profess to be Christians and followers of Christ, to kneel before Him, seeking Him in all we do, praying and surrendering to His ways, His will, His Truth, giving every part of ourselves to Him.

It is our responsibility to continually pray, crying out to Him, weeping to Him, for the plight our nation is in. Let us come to Him, praying and interceding for our neighbors, our leaders, those who live in our cities, our states, and our great country.

Let us pray for God to continually raise up leaders who will live the truth of the gospel.

Let us walk in the authenticity He grants to us, being the loving, caring people He has called, chosen, and commissioned us to be in speaking truth into the lives of others.

Truth and love are frequently discussed in our world but seldom practiced. From politicians to salesman, to everyday individuals, to Christians, people conveniently ignore or conceal facts and use words to enhance positions or sell products, or profit from ‘ministries’.

Perjury is common, and integrity and credibility are endangered species. Words, twisted in meaning and torn from context, have become mere tools for ego building. It is not surprising that we have to ‘swear’ to tell the truth.

Christ is the antithesis of society’s prevailing values; that is, falsehood and self-centeredness – for He is Truth and Love in Person.

Therefore, all who claim loyalty to Him must be committed to these ideals – following the truth and Living the Truth, reflecting Love, and Acting in Love towards one another.

God has freely given each of us who have received Him into our hearts, Mercy and Grace. May we seek to extend mercy and grace to others in this same way, being sincerely motivated in love in all we do and in all of whom we are becoming in Him.

“Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father.”    1 John 2:24

“By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?”    1 John 3:17

“And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.”   1 John 3:23

Love is reaching outside myself and pouring out myself in service in those paths and openings the Lord brings before me each day. Love starts with my own household. Love begins with my neighbors. Love is at work when I put my own desires aside and live true to the calling my Lord has placed upon my life and I enter into His desires for me.

Love is heeding the voice of the Christ Spirit, bending in allowing His miraculous work in transforming my stone heart into God’s Heart. God’s Heart is after the Father’s will. God’s Heart steps into the Spiritual way of responding. God’s Heart says no to my fleshly tendencies.

God’s Spirit conforms who I am on the inside, in the deepest regions of who I am becoming, to the Christ, who has infused His living Spirit in me, giving me All ability, fully equipping me to do those good works He has purposed and intended for me to accomplish in and by His Mighty Power.

God’s Heart is living in the supernatural ability of the Spirit who guides, directs, empowers, gives vision, grants wisdom, and brings me into walking in a Godly discernment.

God’s Heart is the purest, the sincerest, the holiest love that exists and when His love abides in my heart, He is who becomes manifested in my thoughts, my speech, my deeds, and my behaviors.

I am being renewed moment by moment, hour by hour, day by day, month by month, year by year, when I continually abide in my life-giving source, who is the trinity of the Godhead, I have all I could possibly need or desire in this pilgrimage.

The union I am given is above all, choosing the Christ way in all my choices, in all my decisions, in all my plans, in all my ambitions, in all my purposes as I surrender to His ways in each breath I am granted.

Each moment, I choose the Christ way, who is loving in each breath and it is in His Spirit who reigns in me, who sustains me, who breathes this love into the hearts of the men, women and children I cross paths with each day.

It is by this same love our world is being transformed and changed for when we meet others right where they are at, walk in an honest and genuine manner, paying attention to them, listening and hearing what they are saying, we are touching people with the same attentiveness our Father God gives to us.

When I give up my expectations of how God should move, how God should perform, How God should be, then I am walking in the liberty and freedom granted by the Christ Spirit.

When I allow God entrance into all areas, into all levels, into every decision I make, then He is who I serve and He becomes my Lord.

Each day, I eagerly take the manna offered to me from His holy Word as I longingly drink from the living waters poured out in me with each breath, and I anticipate those moments spent alone in Him every morning.

The love He has given, I give away, for in giving love away, I am choosing to honor the high calling upon my life, to walk in the truth of Whose I am, and to be All He has intended me to become, a holy bride, unblemished, untainted, unaffected by worldly standards and values, for I live in the kingdom values imparted in my soul, rooted into the depths of my being, and it is His life in me that becomes the reality of my every day meaning and purpose for living.
