“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.” Galatians 5:22
We know those who are His by their fruits. When we relate with other believers, we know those whose hearts have been consecrated and set apart to do the Father’s works by the spirit that overflows from them and we can know if it is genuine or sincere by spending time with them.
Not everyone is of God and the scriptures let us know how vital it is that we discern the spirits, whether they be of God or not, and this includes teaching, preaching, pastors, leaders, lay persons.
It is for our protection that we abide in the vine who is Christ, walking in His Spirit, guarding our hearts, for those that are not of the Christ Spirit can lead us astray and take us off course if we are vulnerable enough to adhere to the false doctrine that is being taught.
Ephesians 6 speaks about putting on the armor of God which is our defense, our strategic tools that have been given to us in warding off tactics of the enemy that come as angels of light.
Yes, demons come to us disguised as something good, something that appears genuine, but is very much not. Demons do not have any good in mind for us, but rather they will do all they can to deter, hinder, mislead, and get us off the track of following the real gospel of Christ and binding us to His truth as Christians.
When we make as our focus, our relationship with the Godhead, our Father God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, and place this sacred union preeminent in all of whom we are becoming, and in all of what we purpose to do we can know the love given to us and we can know our steps have been destined and ordered as we learn to walk in a Godly granted discernment and a Holy Spirit revelation of wisdom.
Abiding in this union, adhering to the true gospel, surrendering our hearts to our Father, and developing an intimacy in our relationship with Him, will usher us into the Kingdom of His reign in our Now, giving us a freedom and liberty.
This freedom is disciplined, has boundaries, walks in truth above everything else, is honest, and leads us into being the authentic people of God that He desires us to be and what the world is looking for us to be, inside and out.
Being real, being authentic, being genuine, being sincere, and being motivated in deep loving compassion is being who our Father desires us to be when relating to others while walking this pilgrimage upon this earth.
We are a people in whom God is seeking to become His Holy Bride.
Our Father desires His Bride to be one who is untainted by worldly values, unchained from religious dominions, unbound from self pursuits, having the courage and boldness to center our lives in an entire lifestyle of being His love, allowing His love to be who is manifested, overflowing from our hearts touching men, women and children, showing them the way of Christ’ is the way of love.
