The Greatest Gift we can offer is Love

100_1053God is both personal and relational. He manifests His love and His Fullness in and through our relationships with one another. Becoming vulnerable, open, respectful, honest, caring and compassionate with others shows that we honor our most high God by honoring one another. Our highest calling is to love as Christ loved us.

I don’t know about you, but I need the indwelling of the Holy Spirit to continue in transforming me, changing my human heart into God’s Heart, letting go of fleshly ways of responding to others and exchanging my self made ways to Christ formed ways.

There is an active role I must play in participating in the spirit world. I must be intentional in seeking those things of the Spiritual Realm through all I am and all of whom I am becoming in Him.

It becomes necessary for me to daily silence myself, get away from all that distracts, and sit myself in the presence of my most Holy Lord, just being in Him, with Him, bathing in His All Encompassing Love, Mercy and Grace.

It is His Spirit who accomplishes those things God has purposed for my life to fulfill. It is the Holy Spirit who gives vision, wisdom, and imparts a most supernatural ability into my human frame. It is I who must learn to rely, depending on this Holiness to be my guiding light, to cause me to become a women of integrity in all my relationships and in all I desire to do in this world in and by this Power.

The spirit gives a depth to my walk, taking me deeper into the realm of God’s Holiness as I learn turn my attention to developing and maturing in my lifestyle of Faith in Christ.

The greatest commandment given to us is to: Love the Lord God with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our mind, with all our strength, and our to love our has our selves. This is not possible for me to do in my humanity, but is more than possible for the resurrected Christ whose life lives in me, to walk in this love as I allow His Spirit to love in and through my life.

“Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. Love does not demand its own way. Love is not irritable, and it keeps no record of when it has been wronged. It is never glad about injustice but rejoices whenever truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.”            1 Corinthians 13:4-7

“There are three things that will endure – faith, hope, and love – and the greatest of these is love.”           1 Corinthians 13:13

Love is the greatest of all human qualities, and it is an attribute of God. (1 John 4:8) Love is an unselfish service to others; to show it gives evidence that I care for another. Love is action.

Faith is the foundation and content of God’s message; Hope is the attitude and focus; Love is the action. When Faith and Hope are in line, I am free to Love completely.

So it is my Godly duty as a believer and follower of Christ to daily meditate on these versus and ask the Holy Spirit to search me in the continual miracle in causing my heart to truly walk in this love as He has given to me, and to continually let go of self made ways, turning all of whom I am in the deepest regions of my soul towards pursuing Holiness, taking on Christ formed character traits, walking in embracing this love towards everyone as this is what will bring unity and transform lives, one person at a time.
